WE ARE INSPIRED BY THE PAST TO BUILD THE FUTURE
CLASSICS
Made with traditional grape varieties, true Alentejo wines, although with great freshness and balance.
EXCLUSIVES
The house's top of the range wines. These are wines with enormous aging potential, austere, mysterious and profound.
EXPERIENCES
In wine, you only learn once a year. The need to learn more and faster led Luis Louro and Ines Capão, after more than 10 years working as a team, to challenge each other. Each one has to create a wine individually using all the tools available, from the vineyard plot, soil type and grape varieties to the vinification and aging. When the experience is successful, the wines are bottled and sold. LOU by LOUro and CA by Capão.
TERRITORY
Wines that express their origin in its maximum purity, whether it be the grape variety or the plot.
A great wine rarely comes about by chance; it can only be achieved with the best grapes. At AMB, each plot has its own specific characteristics and all are treated individually in order to obtain their maximum potential.
The choice of grape varieties and rootstocks is made according to the type of soil and its exposure. There is a permanent objective of extending the vine cycle, in this way we move the final phase of grape ripening away from the hottest period, naturally leading to more balanced grapes which produces wines with more natural acidity and balance.
